PURPOSE:To readily identify a failure and location on a display by providing a centralized control device with a display that indicates the time, operation command and monitoring lamps that indicate the conditions of respective air conditioners and a warning sound generating means that generates the failure warning sound. CONSTITUTION:The voltage of a terminal unit control circuit is evaluated by an air conditioner connecting circuit 46 of a terminal unit 2 to be fed to a micro computer 45 of the terminal unit 2, and is transmitted to the main unit 1 by a modulation/ demodulation circuit 47 through a signal wire 4. The main unit 1 receives the signal at its modulation/demodulation circuit 26, and evaluates the same by a micro computer 28. If the n-th terminal unit 2 is being operated, the operation command and monitoring lamp for the n-th terminal is illuminated, and if it is not being operated, the lamp is turned OFF. Should a failure occurs in the n-th terminal unit 2, the n-th operation command and monitoring lamp is intermittently illuminated, and the failure is specified by indicating an alphabetical symbol, for instance, on the display along with the warning sound by a warning sound generating circuit 31. By means of a timer circuit 49 of the main unit 1, the ON-OFF operation of the terminal unit 2 is performed.
