When a skirt part 3 formed separately is sent to a caulking board 5 along a feeding groove 4 by an air cylinder, etc. and vacuum-adsorbed at the edge part, said adsorption is detected, and the punch of the upper mold lowers, and the skirt part 3 is inserted into the hole of a hand and caulked, and further caulked by a caulking part 17a on the downstream side. Then, the hand is cut from the supplied member by a cutter 18. Therefore. the hand and the hole for the shaft can be formed at the same time by a pair of press metal molds, and the skirt part can be jointed mechanically, and the working process can be shortened.
