PURPOSE:To easily prepare the NC control data for working a workpiece having different contours on the upper and under surfaces by inputting the drawing information of the shapes of the upper and under surfaces of the workpiece and the height position and carrying out the drawing decomposition and preparing the data. CONSTITUTION:The drawing definitions of the shapes of the upper and under surfaces or a work which are input by an input device 101 are converted to the analytical data including the kind of the drawing and the absolute coordinate values and the advance vectors of the starting point and end point in a defined draying analyzer 104. A drawing correspondence discriminator 105 judges if the decomposition of the drawing component is necessary or not, from the analytical data of the starting point and end point of each corresponding drawing component of the upper and under surfaces of the work, and if the analysis is necessary, a drawing decomposition device 106 performs the rectilinear decomposition in the division unit memorized in a division step unit memorizer 102. A data preparation device 107 converts the data of the coordinate values of the upper and under surfaces to the coordinate values of the lower and upper guides which are set in a height position memorizing device 103, and the transfer quantity is outputted onto a paper tape, etc., from an output device 108.
