<p>PURPOSE:To remove the uncertainty of paper jamming caused by a delay in ejection and also to quickly find a mistake in selecting the size of paper and the fault of exposure by conveying paper at a 2nd speed which is higher when the tailing edge of the paper ejected from a fixing device is detected so that the paper is rapidly ejected from an ejecting port. CONSTITUTION:The leading edge of the paper is ejected from the fixing device, which is detected by a paper detection means S1. A paper relaying and conveying means 25 is driven at a 1st speed equal to paper conveying speed in a copying action part and the ejected paper is conveyed by the paper relaying and conveying means 25. Thereafter, wen the tailing edge of the paper is detected by the paper detection means S1, the paper relaying and conveying means 25 is driven at the 2nd speed which is higher and the paper is rapidly conveyed through a paper conveying means 20 at the 2nd speed to be ejected from the ejecting port. Then, the uncertainty of the paper jamming caused by the delay in ejection can be removed and also the mistake in selecting the size of paper and the fault of exposure can be quickly found to stop copying.</p> |
