<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the unexpected displacement of a locking sleeve when exerted by shock or vibration by enabling the inner end of the safety lever to be in a groove when the safety lever conforms to the groove of a fitting and a shoulder thereof. CONSTITUTION: When a locking sleeve 56 is displaced to a complete lock position, a safety latch lever 68 is in the position conforming to a groove 52, and a concave inner side surface 72 of the lever 68 is in the position engageable with a surface of the groove 52. This conformity of the lever 68 and the groove 52 enables the lever 68 to be pivoted. A handle 74 of the lever 68 occupies the position projecting outwardly from the outer configuration of the locking sleeve 56. The lever 68 in this lock position prevents the locking sleeve 56 from occupying the release position through the engagement of the lever 68 with the shoulder 54. Thus, it is possible to prevent, in an assured way, the unexpected displacement of the locking sleeve 56 to the release position.</p> |
