A bulb is inserted from the rear of a vehicle headlamp reflector produced from sheet metal into an opening of the reflector. The bulb is located with its flange projecting radially outward on the rim of the opening, which is located in a plane surface. Tongues which are cut out from the rim of the opening and are bent away towards the rear of the reflector, engage in recesses on the rim of the cap flange. A retaining spring spanning the cap flange is fastened to the tongues. Lateral edges of the tongues have undercuts serving to fasten the retaining spring. The central region of the retaining spring arrangement bears against the cap flange with pretension. <IMAGE> |
