PURPOSE:To improve reproducing efficiency by forming a magnetic metal layer of a laminated substrate consisting of a ferromagnetic film and a non-magnetic film. CONSTITUTION:The abutting part between a pair of magnetic core half-bodies 1 and 1, a pair of magnetic metal layers 3 and 3 are arranged so as to pinch a magnetic gap part 2, and at least one of the both magnetic metal layers 3 is composed by alternately laminating a ferromagnetic film 31 and a non- magnetic film 32 in a direction along a magnetic gap part formation surface. For example, when the width in the track width direction of the ferromagnetic film 31 is formed to be smaller than a prescribed value, an eddy current accompanying skin effect can be effectively suppressed. Thus, the reproducing efficiency can be improved. |
