PURPOSE: To provide a synthetic resin-made jig excellent in reliability of positioning and fixing by directly forming a recessed part to which a workpiece is to be fitted from the outline of the workpiece in manufacturing the synthetic resin-made jig for bringing a cutter of a machine tool into accurate-contact with the workpiece. CONSTITUTION: A work piece 2 is supported on a proper base table 5. Gypsum 6 is used as a means for supporting the workpiece 2. That is, the workpiece 2 is placed on the base table 5, the gypsum 6 is poured into it, solidified, and fixed in a state where the half upper part of the workpiece 2 is exposed on the gypsum 6. Next, the opened bottom surface of a mold 4 is faced to the workpiece 2, and the workpiece 2 is partially surrounded with the mold 4. A molten synthetic resin is poured into the mold 4 and solidified. The mold 4 is removed from the workpiece 2, the synthetic resin is taken out from the mold 4, and therefore, a synthetic resin-made jig 1 is formed. |
