PURPOSE: To attain automation by horizontally-moving a stack of a sheet material on a pallet supporting device with a pusher, transferring them to a switching platform, and transferring them to a conveyer belt for input to a packaging machine. CONSTITUTION: A stack 2 of sheet material forms parallel rows 5 regularly, is disposed on a pallet-shaped supporting device 4, positioned at the reference position of a centering element base part 8 and under a removing and transferring device 12. After the removing and transferring device 12 is lowered and a rod 20 is positioned to the side of the rows 5 of the stacks, the rod 20 is horizontally-moved along a slider 16 to push out the stacks 2 onto a switching platform 24. During the process, the stacks 2 are grasped by a clamp (not illustrated). The stacks 2 transferred onto the switching platform 24 are moved to an upper position and transferred onto a belt 3.
