PURPOSE:To facilitate high voltage charging of a main battery regardless of the direction from which a sunlight is applied to a vehicle by a method wherein the main battery is charged by solar cells attached to the roof part and the left and right side parts of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A solar cell module 1 is mounted on the roof part of a vehicle. Solar cell modules 2 and 3 are mounted on the left and right parts of the vehicle. The solar cell module 1 contains a first solar cell 10 which is divided into two solar cell parts 10A and 10B. The one solar cell 10A is connected to the second solar cell 2A of the solar cell module 2 in series and the other solar cell 10B is connected to the third solar cell 3A of the solar cell module 3 in series. The charging lines of the divided solar cells 10A and 10B for a main battery 11 are connected to the main battery 11 in parallel with each other thorugh reverse-current blocking diodes 4A and 4B. |
