A procedure for stepping engine stroke angle value measurement, characterized by the fact that a stepping engine (BSK) is fixed in a holder (OUS) which is set in a continuous rotational motion and during the period of the engine being in motion a series of impulses is generated at a number proportional to the stator's angular way, and then at the rotor's (W) distinguished position its stroke is initiated in a direction opposite to the direction of the stator's movement, and at the same time counting of generated impulses is started until the moment in which the rotor (W) returns to its initial position as a result of continuous movement of the holder (OUS), and then the counted number of impulses is automatically processed into an equivalent stroke angle value, whereas the moment of return of the rotor (W) into its initial position is concurrently a signal to start another measurement.<IMAGE>
