Device for digital transmission comprising a receiver providing coherent demodulation directly in microwave frequency. The transmitter uses a synthesized oscillator (1A), the reference (24) of which is supplied by the rate (H) of data (P, Q). Its receiver uses, as a demodulation oscillator (13A), a synthesizer functionally identical to the first (1A), and the reference (23) of which is supplied by the retrieved rate (H, 36) of received data.
