The invention relates to an insulating disk (2) composed of electrically insulating and thermally conducting material. According to the invention, one side (8) of said insulating disk (2) is provided centrally with a recess (10) whose cross section is equal to a cross section of a component (4, 6). Consequently, the value of the extinction voltage of the partial discharge and the creeping-discharge and flashover resistance are increased substantially by means of a surface design of said insulating disk (2).
