Compounds corresponding to the general formula <IMAGE> in which X represents a nitrogen atom, an oxygen atom or a sulphur atom, Y represents a nitrogen atom, an oxygen atom or a sulphur atom; when X = O or S, then Y = N, and when Y = O or S, then X = N, W represents either a methyl group or a group CH2R' in which R' represents a chlorine atom, a bromine atom or an OR'' group, R'' being a leaving group such as a tosyl group or a mesyl group, Z represents either an iodine atom or a bromine atom or a cyano group or a 1H-tetrazol-5-yl group or a 1-(triphenylmethyl)-1H-tetrazol-5-yl group or a (1,1-dimethylethyl)-1H-tetrazol-5-yl group. Use as intermediates in the synthesis of compounds possessing therapeutic activity.
