A laser beam switching apparatus capable of backup is provided to improve the reliability of the laser welding by continuously operating an object using a light generating apparatus by automatically operating a reflective mirror. A laser beam switching apparatus capable of backup comprises a first laser generator(140), a second laser generator(150), a backup beam switch(170), a confusion signal receiver, a controller(110) and a timer(130). The laser beam switching apparatus more includes a reflective mirror operation control part(120), a first laser output part(180) and a second laser output part(190). The first and second laser generator processes objects by emitting the beam according to the control of the controller. The backup beam switch collimates the laser beam emitted through the first and the second laser generator. The confusion signal receiver receives a confusion signal from the first and the second laser generator. The controller enforces the counting by transmitting an operating signal to the timer, once receipt of the confusion signal from the confusion signal receiver. The reflective mirror operation control part transmits the operating signal to the backup beam switch after receiving the operating signal from the controller. The first and the second laser output part output the condensed laser beam from the backup beam switch. |
