A visual speech service system and a method for activating a conventional voice mail are provided to confirm summary information of the voice information stored in a voice mailing box through a user interface. A visual voice service server(200) collects information from a service providing the corresponding information according to voice information collecting period. A mobile communications terminal(100) outputs a voice reception alarm message transmitted from the visual voice message server to a visual or hearing form. If selection information is received among a plurality of voice information, the mobile communications terminal outputs the corresponding voice information through the communications with the visual voice message server. |
