<p>A synthetic waterproofing covering (1), particularly for providing roofings for civil, industrial or commercial buildings, and a method for manufacturing it; the covering comprises a plate-like body which is impermeable to water and is composed of at least one layer of synthetic material (2) designed to be exposed to the atmosphere; the at least one layer of synthetic material (2) contains metallic pigments (3) which are visible from the side of the layer that is designed to be exposed to the atmosphere and can interact with the atmosphere, varying their coloring as a consequence of oxidation or chemical reactions in general; in this manner, the roofing provided by means of the waterproofing covering changes color over time, simulating the aging of traditional roofings provided by means of metal plates.</p> |
