The light emitting layer and the control layer are formed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The thickness of the control layer is 5 to 20nm. The control layer includes a first organic compound and a second organic compound. The amount of the first organic compound is larger than the amount of the second organic compound. The first organic compound has a hole transporting property. The level of HOMO(Highest Occupied Molecular Orbital) of the second organic compound is higher than the level of the HOMO of the first organic compound.
