PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorized rotary joint capable of downsizing and reducing the weight of a connecting portion that rotatably connects two frames with each other and drives the frames using an electric motor. SOLUTION: The electric motor 4 includes a casing 9, a stator 10 fixed to the casing 9, and a rotor 11 provided rotatably to the stator 10 and having a hollow rotating shaft 5. A first frame 2 and the casing 9 are integrally molded, and a second frame 3 is coordinated with the rotor 11 via a speed reducer 6. The rotor 11 has a substantially disk-shaped rotor core 24 that is provided with a ring magnet 26 on the outer peripheral face thereof. A shaft hole 25 is formed so that the rotating shaft 5 is internally fitted and fixed at the center of the rotor core 24 in the lateral direction thereof. Annular recessed portions 27a, 27b are formed respectively on both end surfaces in the axial direction of the rotor core 24 and between the ring magnet 26 and the shaft hole 25.
