<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate setting of image printing conditions in an image printer. <P>SOLUTION: The image printer 10 prints images according to predetermined conditions, and includes a touch panel 410, and a printing condition setting section 140 for setting the image printing condition. The touch panel 410 includes a contact information acquiring section for acquiring contact information for indicating contact state of a pen shaped object 20 onto a display screen 412. The printing condition setting section 140 includes an image display control section for showing an object image for setting the printing condition on the display screen 412, and a handwritten character recognition section 142 for recognizing handwritten characters with the pen shaped object 20 on the display screen 412 on which the object image is shown based on the contact information obtained by the contact information acquiring section of the touch panel 410, and sets the printing conditions based on a character string recognized by the handwritten character recognition section 142. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
