PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower having little displacement of an installation position of a rotation detecting sensor, capable of keeping high precision of the installation position of the rotation detecting sensor, and preventing deformation and the like to a necessary blade guard. SOLUTION: The blower detects rotations of an axial-flow type impeller 1 rotating in a wind tunnel by a rotation detecting sensor provided at an opening end of the wind tunnel 4 on a rotating surface. A metallic sensor mounting member 5 striding over a generally center of the opening end of the wind tunnel 4 and having a channel shape is both-end-supported/fixed. The rotation detecting sensor is mounted at a center of a web portion 8 of the sensor mounting member 5 so as to detect a detecting plate 12 provided on the impeller 1. The sensor mounting member 5 receives and supports the blade guard 6 provided at the opening end of the wind tunnel 4 and made from a linear material. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
