<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caliper brake device for a vehicle capable of exhibiting original braking force of a brake shoe. <P>SOLUTION: An actuator 60 for pressing the brake shoe 7 on a disk is provided. The actuator 60 is provided with a pressing piston 65 slidably stored in a cylinder 80 formed on a caliper body 10 and a pressure chamber 63 defined between the cylinder 80 and the pressing piston 65. The pressing piston 65 has a pressure receiving part facing the overall region of a lining 9 (sliding contact part of the brake shoe 7 with respect to the disk), and presses the brake shoe 7 on the disk by air pressure introduced to the pressure chamber 63 during braking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
