PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorber and a disposable absorbent article capable of preventing the losing of its shape due to twisting, and improving an absorbing speed. SOLUTION: This absorber 3 is provided with an aggregate 31 having at least aggregated fibers, and a sheet body 32. The sheet body 32 consists of a liquid-permeable non-woven fabric, covers the upper face 31a and left/right side edges 31b of the aggregate 31, and covers at least adjacency of the left/right side edges 31b in the lower face 31c of the aggregate 31.
