PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chum-holding tool as a fishing tackle to hook a fish swimming near the water bottom with chum, causing little snagging trouble of the fishing tackle and enabling easy strike in fishing. SOLUTION: The chum-holding tool 20 is provided with a connection part 21 for connecting to a fishing line 12 having two branched fishing hooks 14, a chum-holding part 22 to hold the chum B to be scattered on the fishing hooks 14, a sinker 23 for sinking the chum-holding part 22, and a chum supporting part 24 constructed of two stainless steel wires extending under the chum-holding part 22. The chum supporting part 24 is made to be elastically deformable by the weight of the chum-holding part 22, etc., in the case of moving the chum holding part 22 in water and supports the chum-holding part 22 in a state floating from the water bottom while contacting the supporting part with the water bottom.
