PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptor with a simple configuration for terrestrial digital broadcast enabling a user with a single remote controller to operate a broadcast receiver and the adaptor for terrestrial digital broadcast. SOLUTION: The adaptor 1 for terrestrial digital broadcast is provided with: a signal reception means 10; a remote control signal learning means 20; a lookup table generating means 30; a storage means 40 for storing a lookup table 42 having a correlation among remote control signals corresponding to buttons of a remote controller 3, determination information for indicating whether or not a signal is transmitted to the broadcast receiver 2 and channels of terrestrial digital broadcast assigned to a select button 3a of the remote controller 3; a lookup table acquiring means 50; a determination means 60; a signal transmission means 70; a control means 80; a set screen display control means 92; a tuner 94; and a decoder 96.
