The device has a main part, which is a catheter whose portion includes a structure formed by an echogenic material. The echogenic material is selected from group consisting of amorphous thermoplastic polymer matrices containing microcavities obtained during extrusion of the thermoplastic polymer matrices with an expansion agent by physical or irreversible thermal decomposition. Braid or a strip made of a metal and biocompatible echogenic material is incorporated in the thermoplastic polymer matrices. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a device for taking samples or transferring products in genital organ.
