A system window is provided to apply to a high-rise apartment building and a balcony with strong drafts by improving wind resistance and adiabatic efficiency, to heighten air-tightness and water-tightness between window units, and to harmonize with the interior decoration. A system window comprises a window frame(110) fixed to a wall, first and second sliding window units(120,140) mounted to be slidable on rails formed in an outdoor corresponding area(D) and an indoor corresponding area(F) of the window frame respectively and composed of many vertical frames and horizontal frames(124,125,144,145) and window glass(121,141) fixed to the vertical and horizontal frames, a thermal insulating window unit(130) placed in a frame area(E) between the outdoor corresponding area and the indoor corresponding area of the window frame and composed of plural vertical frames and horizontal frames(134,135) to support window glass(131) and a cover profile mounted to an area where the thermal insulating window unit is not placed in the frame area of a window frame to prevent the thermal insulating window unit from sliding on the window frame. |
