PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure of a furniture top plate capable of evading complications and troublesomeness including the restrictions of using components and assembly time and labor and achieving the sufficient strength of a connection part by simplifying the connecting structure in a connecting top plate formed so that at least two top plate members are connected by a bolt rod parallel to the length direction of the top plate members and a nut as one example. SOLUTION: To recesses 3b and 4b respectively formed on the back surface near the abutting end faces 1a and 2a of the top plates 1 and 2 in order to abut the top plates 1 and 2 against each other to connect them, the pressurizing parts 8a and 9a of connecting metal fittings 8 and 9 for pressurizing the respective recesses 3b and 4b in the end face direction of the opposite side top plate 1 or 2 are respectively fitted. Also, a bolt 10 is made to pass through connection parts 8b and 9b facing each other of the connecting metal fittings 8 and 9, and the bolt 10 is tightened with the nut 11. Thus, the recesses 3b and 4b are drawn to each other, the abutting end faces 1a and 2a are press-fixed, and the top plates 1 and 2 are connected to each other and united. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
