Verrucarin A and verrucarin J are used for inhibiting the growth of human hepatoma carcinoma cell Hep3B and HepG2, human lung carcinoma cell A549, and human prostatic carcinoma cell LNCaP and DU-145, and are used in the pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting the growth of human hepatoma carcinoma cell, human lung carcinoma cell, and human prostatic carcinoma cell.
