<p>A method for cell reselection/handoff in wireless communication area is disclosed. The method includes the following steps. The user equipment checks in the identifier list of neighboring macro cells in which AP can be accessed and acquires the current macro cell. The user equipment confirms that the current macro cell includes accessible AP. The user equipment acquires the AP cell information of the accessible AP included in the current macro cell and measures the accessible AP cell included in the current macro cell according to the AP cell information. Then according to the measurement result, the user equipment reselects or is handed over to the AP cell which meets the reselection/handoff requirements. Meanwhile, equipment and a system for cell reselection/handoff are disclosed. By using the implementation, reselection/handoff from macro cell to AP cell under the femto cell structure is realized. The user can utilize the user equipment to accept the wireless data service rapidly, conveniently and with low cost. At the same time, it is avoided for the user equipment to consume power to measure blindly and to be handed over to the AP cell without authority.</p> |
