Oxide-like hydrotalsite used as an additive in a process of synthesizing resin and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to show excellent heat resistance and chlorine resistance. Oxide-like hydrotalsite represented by the formula 1 of (MII_(1-a)∧(oct)MII_a∧(tet))∧(4+x)(MIII_(1-b)∧(oct)MIII_b∧(tet))_2(OH)_(12+2x-2y)O_y(A∧(n-))_(2/n).mH2O has secondary particle size of 3mum or less. In the formula 1, MII represents two-valent metal selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Co, Zn and Ni; MIII indicates three-valent metal selected from the group consisting of Al, Fe, Co, Mn and Ti; MIIoct and MIIIoct are respectively octahedron-structured MII and MIII with coordinate number of 6; and MIItet and MIIItet are respectively tetrahedron-structured MII and MIII with coordinate number of 4.
