REAGENT AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING AND MODULATING EXPRESSION OF GENE REGULATED BY CDK INHIBITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a reagent for identifying a compound inhibiting the induction of a gene involved in cancer and age-related disease, such gene induced by a cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor.

SOLUTION: The recombinant expression structure encodes a reporter gene operably linked to a promoter originated from a mammal gene induced by the cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor. The mammal cell contains the recombinant expression structure. The method for identifying the compound inhibiting the induction of the gene induced by the cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor by using the mammal cell is also provided.
