PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthen pot that is dedicated for an induction-heating cooker and improves user-friendliness and safety. SOLUTION: The earthen pot dedicated for the induction-heating cooker is provided with an earthen pot main body 15, a heating layer 16 provided on the outer face of the bottom of the main body 15 and consisting of a conductive material and a heat radiation varying part 17 provided on the inner face of the bottom of the main body 15. The varying part 17 varies in infrared radiation from the layer 16 on heating of the main body 15 from that from any part of the bottom. The varying part 17 so functions as to hardly or easily radiate from the layer 16 of the earthen pot main body 15. Thereby the main body 15 is able to more appropriately adjust an output of the layer 16. Accordingly, setting the pot to any power allows the input not to damage the machine main body and the user-friendliness and the safety to be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
