<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a trunk opening/closing panel is opened because locking brought about by a locking device is released by vibrations, shocks, etc. during the travel of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This locking device 1 for the trunk opening/closing panel of an automobile engages a latch 5 with a hook portion 4 so that a free end side 6a of a rotary handle 6 can be turned on a base end-side shaft 7 in such a manner as to be brought down to a trunk side, and locks an opening of the trunk in a closed state by holding a portion-to-be-held 204 of the opening/closing panel, closing the opening of the trunk of the vehicle, by a panel holding portion 2. The free end-side of the rotary handle 6 is turned in such a manner as to be isolated from the trunk side, so that the latch 5 can be disengaged from the hook portion 4; and the opening/closing panel is opened by releasing the holding of the opening/closing panel by the panel holding portion 2. A leading end of the rotary handle 6 is provided with a handle irrotational means 21 which is engaged with an engaging portion 20 provided on the trunk side, so as to keep irrotationally the handle in the direction of isolation from the trunk side, when the handle 6 is turned in such a manner as to be brought down to the trunk side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
