PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of ensuring the edge effect and the water removing effect by a sipe by ensuring the rigidity of a land part and preventing any excessive inclination while preventing an opening part of the sipe from being narrowed. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire having a sipe 10 on a block 1 as a land part, the sipe 10 has wide parts 11, 12 along the longitudinal direction, and recesses 4, 5 in which the wide parts 11, 12 are smaller than the sipe 10 in the longitudinal direction and the depth direction are alternately arranged on both sides of sipe wall surfaces 10a, 10b along the longitudinal direction of the sipe 10.
