The core layer (2) for a sandwich structure, comprises a structure folded out of semi-finished product, which has a plastic layer out of polymer fleece, polymer fabric and/or polymer foil, which is double-sidedly coated with a stiff surface material such as fiber, non-woven, paper, paperboard or cardboard. The stiff surface material is reinforced by a strengthening material. The layer out of stiff surface material is partially impregnated with an artificial resin. One of the layers is formed in partially electrical conductive manner. An independent claim is included for a method for the production of core layer.
