<p>The digital processing unit (5) of a hearing device is controlled by a program in a program module (7) which program is parametrized with a first dedicated set of parameters PARt, loaded in storage unit 9 and with a set of further parameters PARo. Whenever the PARt parameters are enabled, the hearing device is controlled in transparent mode i.e. where the user does substantially not recognise the applied hearing device. <??>The transparency control parameter PARt and the other parameters PARo for additional operating modes of the device are mutually independent, so that the transparent mode is acting as reference mode for programming as well as e.g. for fitting.</p> |
