Mechanical model for measurement of pre-stressed state of mechanism of inclination of electric arc melting furnace has basis arranged of vertical standpipes that are rigidly connected to each other with cross beams, and simulator of load that comprises holder that is installed with possibility of motion with respect to long axis of basis and loading mechanism. It is additionally equipped with platform that is made of placed in horizontal positions beams that are rigidly connected to each other with ends as polygon on two parallel sides of which support toothed sectors of mechanism of inclination of electric arc melting furnace are rigidly fixed, those are installed with possibility of interaction with rails of mechanism of inclination of melting furnace, rigidly fixed on basis. Platform is placed over basis and with one side it is fixed to installed in vertical position jack equipped at two sides with hinges and simulator of load is arranged as &Pgr;-like holder that has two vertical standpipes that are rigidly attached to each other with cross piece and loading mechanism that is screw pressing element installed with possibility of motion at vertical axis in cross piece of &Pgr;-like holder with possibility of interaction with support beam that is fixed with ends on platform.
