SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SOFTWARE PRODUCT MANAGER WITH A COMPONENT MODEL

A component-based software product manager system and method are provided. The component-based software product manager system includes a software product manager module which manages a list of features of a software product; a software platform manager module which manages a list of components respectively corresponding to the features; a software platform configurator module which respectively sets configuration variables of the components to predetermined setting values; and a software asset manager module which synchronizes element variables according to configuration variable settings and manages physical elements.
