Inflammatory disorders, including obliterative airway disease, renal fibrosis, diabetic nephropathy, and liver fibrosis are treated with immunosuppressive triptolide compounds, in particular triptolide compounds effective to inhibit TGF-ß production in a patient afflicted with such a disorder.
