The method involves fixing and arranging multiple metallic strips (3) on a metallic carrier strap (2) in parallel in a specific position to form structures suitable for channels. The parallel metallic strips are produced using a cutting process or a roll chamfering process. A soldering material is applied on surfaces of the metallic strips before arranging the metallic strips on the metallic carrier strap, where the metallic strips are arranged on both sides of the metallic carrier strap. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a block of layers.
