SENSOR NETWORK SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING ATTACK THEREOF

A sensor network system and an attack detection method is provided to improve the security by detecting an attacker node when establishing a routing path. A sensor network system includes a detection node, a sink node and a management node. The detection node detects the routing information change of an attacker node. The management node determines whether the attacker exists or not and takes a predetermined measure. Each detection node includes a routing table. Each detection node can perform a mode of calculating the number of hops and the detection mode. In the detection mode, the modulation of the number of hops is detected in routing information included in a message delivered between a source node and a destination node or between the source node and an intermediate node.
