<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a display device in which sounds generated by hitting of a light guide plate and its peripheral members are inhibited when they are vibrated. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes a planar light guide plate 5, a lamp 1 disposed in proximity to an incidence face 11 of the planar light guide plate 5, a light source holder 2 made of an elastic material, disposed at the corner part of the planar light guide plate 5 and holding the lamp 1, and a rear frame 3 for housing the planer light guide plate 5, the lamp 1 and the light source holder 2. The rear frame 3 has a light guide plate housing part 16 facing the side face 14 of the planer light guide plate 5 and holding the side face 14 of the planer light guide plate 5, the light source holder 2 includes a protrusion 15 which is closer to the side face 14 of the planar light guide plate 5 facing the light guide plate housing part 16 than the light guide plate housing part 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
