<p>A power transmission belt, a device and method of assembling a power transmission belt, and method of producing a power transmission belt, in which assembly of rings and elements is facilitated to improve productivity. A power transmission belt (V) has elements (1) in which recesses (7) for receiving endless rings (8) side by side are formed. Each element (1) has projections (9) on its opening end side, on left and right inner surfaces in each recess (7), and the projections (9) are engaged with the rings (8) to prevent them from separating from the recess (7). The elements (1) are annularly arranged so that the opening end side is on the outer peripheral side of the annular shape. Each ring (8) is placed, engaged,and assembled on the inner peripheral side of a projection (9) in the row of the annularly arranged elements (1). The power transmission belt (V) further has a ring holding member (8c) for limiting relative movement of adjacent rings (8a, 8b), or the rings (8), arranged side by side without overlapping on each other.</p> |
