PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner of which the charge amount is easily controlled and which is excellent not only in latent image reproducibility and color saturation after image formation but also in stability in long-term use and storage. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner includes: a binder resin including a polymer prepared by allowing an aromatic polymerizable monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond, a nitrogen-containing aliphatic polymerizable monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond, and a sulfur-containing aliphatic compound to react with one another; a colorant; and a compound having at least one of an amino group and an amido group, wherein the toner has a ratio (MN/MS) of nitrogen content (MN) to sulfur content (MS) of 1.0-15 as measured by fluorescent X-ray analysis.
