PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accounting apparatus which can certainly perform an error processing with a small number of error sheets even when connecting the apparatus to an image formation device which has a high copy speed or long conveyance route. SOLUTION: When a substraction value n calculated by subtracting the count representing the paper discharge signals from the count representing the paper feeding signals input from a copy machine 1 is larger than an upper limit value N established beforehand, the image forming operation of the copy machine 1 is forbidden (S31 to S33, S42).
