Jack-pot prizes are prevented from resultantly concentrating on players playing with a part of game machines constituting a game system. The game system comprises a jack-pot lot device which reads pay amount data out of a storage unit when a lot unit determines a win of a jack-pot prize, pays the winner pay objects the amount of which is at least a part of the amount specified by the read pay amount data, and cumulatively increase the amount specified by the pay amount data stored in the storage unit when a predetermined pay amount increase condition is met. The lot unit conducts a group lot to determine whether one win group or no win group is selected under a predetermined group lot condition from among predetermined groups each including two or more game machines. If a win group is selected as a result of the group lot, the lot unit conducts a winner lot to determine whether a player to win a jack-pot prize is selected from among the players playing the game machines of the win group or no player is selected, thus conducting a jack-pot lot.
