PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the height of a head guard by vertically sliding in relation to the main body of a child seat basket, and to fix the head guard stably by preventing rattling. SOLUTION: The child seat basket includes the height adjustment mechanism 30 for fixing the head guard 20 at a predetermined position by sliding vertically along a rail part 12D of the main body 12 of the child seat basket. The height adjustment mechanism 30 includes an adjustment knob 36 disposed in the back side of the main body 12 of the child seat basket and a pressing member 34 disposed in the front side of the head guard 20, and the pressing member 34 is provided with a first projection part 34A and a second projection part which engage with an engaging recess 32 of the head guard 20. Inside the adjustment knob 36, a projecting part and a lock release face are provided, and the first projection part 34A and the second projection part are engaged with the engaging recess 32 when the projecting part runs on an abutting part 44 of the main body 12 of the child seat basket.
