PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster, without increasing the size of the caster, with which an operator traveling by riding in a vehicle with the caster can slow down or stop the vehicle by braking the caster. SOLUTION: In the adjustable caster 3 attached to a lower part of a vehicle body 2, a brake pad 4, which brakes the vehicle 1 with the caster by being pressed against a wheel 10 when the vehicle 1 with the caster is traveling, is disposed between the wheel 10 of the adjustable caster 3 and an installation seat 12 for installing the adjustable caster 3 into the vehicle body 2. A push rod 5, one end of which presses the brake pad 4 and the other end is protruded from the upper surface of the vehicle body 2, is disposed on a central axis 20 around which the adjustable caster 3 rotates.
