<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm contents recorded on a recording disk with a print image printed on the recording disk. <P>SOLUTION: The circular print image 82 is produced by joining one end and the other end in one direction of a representative image in which an image feature portion elongated in one direction is drawn. The print image 82 is printed over the recording disk 90 so that an image center of the print image 82 coincides with a disk center of the recording disk 90. As a result, the image feature portion elongated in one direction, which is drawn in the representative image indicating the contents recorded on the recording disk 90, can be printed over the disk with no portion thereof missing.
